Laserfinger | Face-Off
Sound by Nicolas Moench
Berlin
based video artist Peta Jenkin’s
2020
performance attempts to capture/display human
emotive nuances by presenting a series of portrait-style sequences
of faces. Consistent framing reduces the images to a single aesthetic.
Alongside Peta, musician Nicolas Moench added chaos to this
assemblage of facial expressions via audio constructed
from live recordings and samples.

*spark | rbn_esc
Toby ‘*spark’ has been one of the driving forces in
the UK’s burgeoning VJ and audio visual scene. His 2020 performance
‘rbn_esc’ fused cinema and live experimental visuals.
It presented a series of character scenarios, inviting the audience
to construct narrative and cultural critique. Originally a VJ based
set, 2020
commissioned this
audio visual version. |

RhythmVision | Cannon Canon
Sound
and performance artist Steve Buchanon used his unique sound floor
for a non-didatic exploration of the various canons inherent in
art, history, science, politics and economics as
well as the myths that they inevitably engender.
Video artist Boris Edelstein (garagecube.com) used the ground breaking
VJ software
‘Modul8’ to
embellish Steve’s vision.
