About the Organisers | Name
Name are an arts and design collective based in Newcastle. As well as covering all aspects of commercial and artistic design. Name also undertakes arts based projects with the 2020 project being the latest.
Directors Nikolas Barrera and Andrew Nixon and driven by a collective approach to artistic expression, with the 2020 project most clearly illustrating this. NAME are project managers as well as contributing artistically - this ensured a more cohesive end product for 2020.

Name are also a VJ act, with many club based residencies in the North - the most recent being Bulletproof at the Carling Academy. Striving to produce content that differs from the norm, they believe the concept of live visuals allow a new relationship with static and moving image - it is through live visuals that you are able to explore immediately, themes of narrative, repetition, loops and composites.
